Human FGF4 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit for human FGF4 (Fibroblast Growth Factor 4) is designed for the quantitative detection of FGF4 in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA configuration with colorimetric detection.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 37.5 pg/mL and a working range of 62.5–4000 pg/mL. All reagents are supplied for storage at 2–8°C for up to 12 months. In validation across serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma samples, average recovery values span 91%–98%, with linearity of 82%–105% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions.

The procedure follows a standard sandwich workflow: reagent and pre-coated plate equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding the stop solution. The kit supports research into FGF4's role in tissue repair and embryonic development, and into disease contexts in which FGF4 dysregulation has been linked to cancer and developmental disorders.
