Human FGF10 ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay is designed for the quantitative detection of fibroblast growth factor 10 (FGF10) in human samples. The kit has been validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with absorbance read at 450 nm following TMB substrate development. Colorimetric detection is coupled to biotin-labeled antibody and HRP-streptavidin (SABC) binding steps.

FGF10 is a key protein involved in cell growth, development, and tissue repair, with functions including promoting cell proliferation and differentiation. Dysregulation of FGF10 has been associated with cancer, lung diseases, and developmental disorders, supporting its study as a therapeutic target in cell biology research. Synonyms for the target include FGF-10, KGF-2, and Keratinocyte growth factor 2.

The kit offers a sensitivity of 4.688 pg/mL and a measuring range of 7.813-500 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n = 5) was 86-104% at 1:2, 86-98% at 1:4, and 81-100% at 1:8; in EDTA plasma (n = 5) it was 87-105%, 83-94%, and 86-100%; in heparin plasma (n = 5) it was 95-104%, 87-101%, and 88-100%. Recovery ranges averaged 94% for serum (87-99%), 97% for EDTA plasma (91-103%), and 92% for heparin plasma (85-98%). The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
