The Assay Genie FGF-4 immunoassay supports quantitative measurement of fibroblast growth factor 4 (FGF-4), a heparin-binding mitogenic signalling protein involved in embryonic development, stem-cell maintenance and tumour-cell proliferation when dysregulated. Pre-coated capture antibodies on the supplied plate allow researchers to profile FGF-4 secretion across diverse biological matrices in a single analytical run.

Each kit ships with a pre-coated plate, biotinylated detection antibody, recombinant protein standards and streptavidin-HRP reagents. The standard curve delivers a detection range of 31.2 to 2000 pg/mL, with a sensitivity below 7.8 pg/mL, supporting both low-abundance cell-lysate studies and higher-titre serum work. A 100 uL sample volume is recommended per well; the protocol accommodates plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell lysate and tissue lysate samples alongside serum.

Bring reagents to room temperature before use and store unopened components refrigerated. Aliquot standards to limit freeze-thaw cycles and protect streptavidin-HRP from light.
