The Human FGF-19 PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Fibroblast Growth Factor 19, an enterokine hormone that regulates bile acid homeostasis, hepatic gluconeogenesis, and lipid metabolism through FGFR4/β-klotho receptor signaling. Circulating FGF-19 levels are widely investigated as biomarkers in research on non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, primary bile acid diarrhea, type 2 diabetes, and hepatocellular carcinoma, where reduced fasting concentrations have been associated with hepatic injury and metabolic dysfunction.
