Human FFAR4/GPR120 ELISA Kit

FFAR4 is a G protein-coupled receptor that plays a role in regulating nutrient sensing and inflammatory responses, and its activation has been linked to metabolic disorders including obesity, diabetes, and inflammation-related conditions.

The kit is intended for human samples and accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Detection is colorimetric, with the assay showing a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a working range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. The kit should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma falls between 80% and 103% across 1:2 to 1:8 dilutions. Recovery averages 91% in serum, 95% in EDTA plasma, and 91% in heparin plasma. The procedure includes reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C, biotin-labeled antibody binding, HRP-Streptavidin incubation, TMB substrate development in the dark, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
