Human Fermitin family homolog 2 (FERMT2) ELISA Kit

Assay Genie offers a colorimetric sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Human Fermitin family homolog 2 (FERMT2), also known as Kindlin-2, in human samples. FERMT2 is a scaffolding protein that enhances integrin activation and plays a central role in cell adhesion, migration, proliferation, and differentiation. It participates in the connection between extracellular matrix adhesion sites and the actin cytoskeleton, the assembly of focal adhesions, and the TGF-β1 and Wnt signaling pathways. Dysregulation of FERMT2 has been linked to cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and inflammatory conditions, making it a useful biomarker for research into these diseases.

The kit is reactive with human samples and has been validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human FERMT2. Reported performance includes a detection range of 78-5000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 39.2pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 6.0%, and an inter-assay CV of 7.3%. Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (101-120%), EDTA plasma (82-118%), and heparin plasma (89-113%). Recovery is 97% in serum (range 91-103%) and 99% in plasma (range 93-105%). The kit is intended for research use only.
