The Human FDPS PharmaGenie ELISA Kit from Assay Genie supports quantitative measurement of Farnesyl Diphosphate Synthase (FDPS), a branch-point enzyme of the mevalonate pathway that generates farnesyl diphosphate, the precursor for cholesterol, dolichols, heme A, and prenylated proteins. FDPS quantification is widely used in bone metabolism research, including studies of bisphosphonate pharmacology in osteoclasts, as well as in statin response, cancer cell proliferation, and isoprenoid biosynthesis investigations.

Assay Genie delivers the kit as a complete sandwich ELISA in a 96-well microplate with colorimetric readout. The kit accepts cell culture supernatant and clinical sample matrices, supporting both in vitro cell-based work and translational sample analysis. The capture antibody is human-specific, with no significant cross-reactivity against rodent orthologues.
