FCRL3 (Fc Receptor-Like 3, also called FcRH3) is a transmembrane immunoregulatory receptor expressed predominantly on B lymphocytes, where its cytoplasmic ITIM and ITAM tyrosine-based motifs tune B-cell receptor signaling. Polymorphisms in the FCRL3 locus have been linked in published studies to susceptibility to rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and type 1 diabetes, making circulating FCRL3 a relevant biomarker for autoimmune disease research.
