Description

Assay Genie offers a sandwich ELISA, double antibody assay for the quantitative measurement of FCGR1 (CD64) in human samples. The kit targets FCGR1, also known as CD64, a receptor involved in the immune response that recognises and binds antibodies. Elevated FCGR1 levels have been linked to autoimmune diseases, inflammatory conditions, and infectious disorders, making the marker a useful target for disease research and therapeutic investigation.

The assay is compatible with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a colorimetric detection method. Stated sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL, with a working range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. The kit is supplied with a dismountable ELISA microplate, lyophilised standard, biotin-labelled detection antibody (100X), HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC, 100X), TMB substrate, sample, antibody and SABC dilution buffers, stop solution, 25X wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual. Unopened components should be stored at 2–8°C for 12 months, protected from direct light where indicated.

Reported linearity for serum (n = 5) is 88–103% at 1:2, 94–105% at 1:4 and 89–105% at 1:8; EDTA plasma (n = 5) gives 84–97%, 84–100% and 85–104% at the same dilutions, and heparin plasma (n = 5) gives 84–97%, 81–98% and 86–103%. Recovery ranges across the same matrices are 91–105% (average 96%), 86–99% (average 95%) and 86–99% (average 93%) respectively. The procedural workflow involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance reading at 450 nm after stop solution addition.
