Human FCGBP/IgGFc-binding protein ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Human FCGBP/IgGFc-binding protein ELISA Kit is a sandwich ELISA using a double-antibody format for the quantitative measurement of FCGBP (IgGFc-binding protein) in human samples. The colorimetric assay has a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a standard curve range of 31.25–2000 pg/mL. Acceptable matrices include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and the kit is stored at 2–8°C with a stated shelf life of 12 months under appropriate conditions.

The workflow involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, loading standards, samples and blanks onto the pre-coated plate, and incubating at 37°C for 90 minutes. A biotin-labelled detection antibody is added for a 60-minute incubation at 37°C, followed by HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) for 30 minutes. TMB substrate is added for colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, the reaction is stopped, and absorbance is read at 450 nm. Sample-specific preparation guidance is provided for serum, plasma, tissue homogenate, cell culture supernatant and cell lysate.

Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions with reported percentage ranges, and recovery has been evaluated across the same three matrices with reported ranges and average values.
