Human Fc region of Immunoglobulin G (FcIgG) ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of the Fc region of Immunoglobulin G (FcIgG) in human samples. The assay targets FcIgG, a key component of the immune system that mediates antibody-driven effector functions such as detection of opsonized particles, cell lysis, and degranulation of mast cells, basophils, and eosinophils, through binding to various cell receptors and complement proteins. Elevated FCIgG levels have been linked to autoimmune diseases and inflammatory conditions, and the kit is intended for research use only.

The kit delivers a detection range of 1.56-100 ng/mL with a sensitivity of 0.39 ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported at a CV of 5.1% and inter-assay precision at 7.9%. Linearity has been validated in serum (104-113% at 1:2, 100-110% at 1:4, 113-123% at 1:8, 99-108% at 1:16), EDTA plasma (106-116%, 111-123%, 90-100%, 83-93%) and heparin plasma (101-111%, 109-121%, 109-119%, 87-97%). Recovery averages 90% (range 84-96%) in serum and 92% (range 86-98%) in plasma. Specificity covers natural and recombinant human Fc region of Immunoglobulin G, and reactivity is human.

Validated sample types include serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, with detection carried out using a sandwich ELISA format.
