Human FBLN4/Fibrillarin ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Fibrillarin in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The double-antibody format delivers a sensitivity of 0.938 ng/mL across a working range of 1.563–100 ng/mL. Associated with the Uniprot entry P22087 (synonym FBL) and intended for research in Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling, the assay is read colorimetrically at 450 nm after TMB development.

Validated linearity spans 87–102% for serum, 89–97% for EDTA plasma, and 80–98% for heparin plasma at a 1:2 dilution, with comparable performance reported at 1:4 and 1:8. Spike-and-recovery averages are 97% in serum (range 88–99%), 97% in EDTA plasma (range 86–104%), and 96% in heparin plasma (range 91–104%). Unopened kits are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The workflow follows six steps: equilibrate reagents and the TMB substrate to room temperature and set up the pre-coated plate; load standards, samples, and blanks and incubate at 37°C for 90 minutes; add biotinylated detection antibody and incubate at 37°C for 60 minutes; add HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and incubate at 37°C for 30 minutes; develop with TMB in the dark for 10–20 minutes; then stop and read absorbance at 450 nm.
