The FAM98C target is a member of the FAM98 family of RNA-associated proteins that localize to cytoplasmic stress granules and have been implicated in post-transcriptional gene regulation in mammalian cells. Assay Genie's research use only kit uses a human-specific capture antibody to detect endogenous FAM98C levels in human circulatory specimens, supporting studies in cancer cell biology, viral host response, and RNA-binding protein research.

The pre-coated microplate is supplied with lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, and streptavidin-HRP conjugate, supporting a streamlined workflow with 100 µL of standard or sample loaded per reaction and absorbance readout on a standard plate reader.
