Human FAM3B ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative measurement of FAM3B in human samples. It uses a double-antibody sandwich ELISA format with colorimetric detection and is suitable for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid sample types.

The assay has a reported sensitivity of 18.75 pg/mL and a working range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions spans 80-103% for serum, 82-96% for EDTA plasma and 82-100% for heparin plasma. Recovery ranges from 85-105% across sample matrices, with averages of 97% (serum), 98% (EDTA plasma) and 92% (heparin plasma). FAM3B has been implicated in cell growth, differentiation and metabolism, and its dysregulation has been associated with diabetes, obesity and inflammatory diseases, supporting its use as a candidate biomarker in those research areas.

The protocol involves reagent equilibration, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotinylated detection antibody binding, HRP-streptavidin binding, TMB colour development in the dark for 10–20 minutes and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. Components supplied include a pre-coated dismountable microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labelled antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, SABC dilution buffer, stop solution, wash buffer, plate sealers and a technical manual. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months.
