Human FAM124A ELISA Kit

Assay Genie provides a competitive ELISA for the quantitative measurement of human FAM124A (also referenced by the synonym FAM214A, Protein FAM214A; UniProt Q32MH5). The assay is colorimetric, run in a competitive ELISA format coated with antigen, and validated for serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysates, and other liquid samples.

Reported sensitivity is 0.469 ng/mL with an assay range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. Dilutional linearity at 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 (n=10 each) was 89-101%, 87-101%, and 81-97% for serum; 86-97%, 89-96%, and 81-98% for EDTA plasma; and 85-102%, 83-97%, and 80-97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery averaged 97% for serum (range 93-102%), 96% for EDTA plasma (range 87-104%), and 97% for heparin plasma (range 89-103%).

The procedure calls for equilibrating TMB substrate for 30 minutes at room temperature, adding 50 µL of standard or sample and 50 µL of biotin-labeled antibody per well, incubating 45 minutes at 37°C, washing five times with a 1-minute soak, developing in the dark at 37°C for 10-20 minutes, stopping the reaction, and reading absorbance at 450 nm. Sealed components should be stored at 2-8°C and not cryopreserved.
