Human FABP1/L-FABP ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA (Double Antibody) from Assay Genie, designed for the accurate detection of FABP1 (L-FABP) levels in human samples, using a colorimetric detection method. The kit offers high sensitivity and specificity with reliable and reproducible results across a variety of research applications. FABP1, also known as Liver-type Fatty Acid Binding Protein, plays a crucial role in lipid metabolism and transportation, particularly in the liver and intestine. Dysregulation of FABP1 has been linked to various metabolic diseases, including obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases, so accurate measurement of FABP1 levels can support research into these conditions.

Performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.781–50 ng/mL. Validated sample types include serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with the kit stored at 2–8°C for 12 months. The assay procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labeled detection antibody binding for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) binding for 30 minutes, TMB color development in the dark for 10–20 minutes, and absorbance measurement at 450 nm after adding stop solution.
