Assay Genie's CLIA platform uses a sandwich immunoassay configuration in which biotinylated capture antibodies are immobilized on the pre-coated 96-well microplate, and an acridinium-ester-labeled detector antibody generates the luminescent readout. After incubation with standards or samples, wash steps remove unbound material and a chemiluminescent substrate is added; the resulting light output is measured on a luminometer and interpolated against a standard curve. Analytical sensitivity is typically in the low picogram-per-milliliter range, with a dynamic range spanning roughly 1–1000 pg/mL, supporting accurate quantification of A-subunit concentrations below the detection limits of conventional ELISA. The kit provides a pre-coated plate, lyophilized recombinant standards, detection antibody concentrate, substrate solution, wash buffer (10x), and assay diluent. Reconstituted components are stable for short-term use at 2–8 °C; for longer storage, aliquot and freeze at -20 °C, avoiding repeated freeze-thaw cycles to preserve antibody binding activity.
