Human F1+2/Prothrombin Fragment 1+2 ELISA Kit

Assay Genie's Sandwich ELISA kit provides a colorimetric method for measuring F1+2/Prothrombin Fragment 1+2, a marker of blood clot formation, thrombin generation, and activation of the coagulation cascade, in human samples. The assay is intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with a reported sensitivity of 28.125 pg/mL and a detection range of 46.875-3000 pg/mL.

F1+2 plays a role in blood clot formation and is relevant to research into thrombosis, disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC), and other thrombotic and coagulation disorders. The workflow employs a biotinylated detection antibody and HRP-streptavidin conjugate, with colour development via TMB substrate and absorbance measurement at 450 nm. A sample volume of 100 μL is specified, and no significant cross-reactivity or interference between Human F1+2 and analogues was observed. Recovery is reported at 80%-120%, and both intra-assay and inter-assay precision, along with linearity across multiple sample matrices, have been characterised.
