Human f-Hb/Free Haemoglobin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this Sandwich ELISA Kit uses a double-antibody, colorimetric format to measure free haemoglobin (f-Hb) in human samples. The assay is designed to detect free hemoglobin levels in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, supporting research into hemolysis-related conditions such as hemolytic anaemia and blood transfusion reactions.

Reported performance characteristics include a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and an assay range of 0.313-20 ng/mL. Linearity has been demonstrated across serum (85-101% at 1:2, 87-100% at 1:4, 87-99% at 1:8), EDTA plasma (88-104%, 88-97%, 80-93%), and heparin plasma (86-103%, 82-101%, 84-94%) dilutions. Spike-and-recovery performance is reported at 85-102% with an average of 96% for serum, 87-102% (94% average) for EDTA plasma, and 86-104% (95% average) for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months, and the protocol uses a TMB substrate read at 450 nm after primary incubation at 37°C.
