Human Ezrin (EZR) ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables quantitative measurement of human Ezrin (EZR), also referenced by the synonyms Cytovillin, Villin-2, p81 and VIL2. The assay is reactive with human samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernatants and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human Ezrin.

Reported performance figures include a detection range of 31.2–2000 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 10 pg/mL. Precision is given as an intra-assay CV of 5.4% and an inter-assay CV of 10.1%. Linearity has been demonstrated in serum (102–113%, 99–110%, 107–116% and 117–126% at 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16 dilutions), EDTA plasma (85–95%, 100–110%, 80–89% and 91–99%) and heparin plasma (107–117%, 87–97%, 98–106% and 109–119%). Recovery averages 100% in serum (range 94–106%) and 102% in plasma (range 96–108%).

Ezrin is a member of the ERM (ezrin–radixin–moesin) protein family that cross-links the actin cytoskeleton to the plasma membrane and contributes to microvilli formation, cell surface structure adhesion, migration and organisation. The kit is supplied for research use only.
