Human Ezrin ELISA Kit

From Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit enables the in vitro quantitative determination of human Ezrin (EZR) concentrations in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatants, and other biological fluids. The double-antibody sandwich format uses a colorimetric detection method and is intended for research use only.

Ezrin is a member of the ERM (ezrin-radixin-moesin) protein family, which functions as cross-linkers between plasma membranes and the actin-based cytoskeleton, playing a key role in cell surface structure adhesion, migration, and organization. Dysregulation of ezrin has been linked to various diseases, including cancer and inflammatory disorders, highlighting its significance as a potential biomarker for disease diagnosis and progression.

The assay reports a sensitivity of 18.75 pg/ml and a detection range of 31.25–2000 pg/ml. Recovery rates are 86–97% (average 92%) in serum, 85–93% (average 90%) in EDTA plasma, and 86–103% (average 94%) in UFH plasma. Precision is reported as intra-assay CV <8% and inter-assay CV <10%. Storage is at 4°C for 6 months.
