Human Extracellular matrix protein 1 (ECM1) ELISA Kit

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312–20 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.23 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is reported at 4.9% and inter-assay CV at 7.6%. The assay is specific for natural and recombinant human ECM1 (UniProt Q16610). Recovery averages 96% in serum (range 90–102%) and 98% in plasma (range 92–104%). ECM1 is a secreted extracellular matrix protein involved in endochondral bone formation as a negative regulator of bone mineralization, in the stimulation of endothelial cell proliferation and angiogenesis, and in the inhibition of MMP9 proteolytic activity. According to the manufacturer, abnormal ECM1 levels have been linked to cancer, fibrosis, and cardiovascular disorders, supporting its use as a biomarker for investigating these conditions.
