EMMPRIN (also called CD147 or basigin) is a transmembrane glycoprotein that drives extracellular matrix metalloproteinase production and is implicated in tumor invasion, inflammatory signaling, and viral entry. This quantitative immunoassay kit from Assay Genie is configured for 96 assays and supports measurement of EMMPRIN in human samples, with reactivity restricted to human analytes. The kit is validated for use with serum, tissue homogenates, cell lysates, and related research sample matrices, and is intended for in vitro research use only. Reagents are shipped refrigerated and should be equilibrated before the assay is run. Investigators studying cancer cell invasion, MMP regulation, or CD147-mediated signaling pathways can use this kit to measure EMMPRIN levels in conditioned media, tissue extracts, and lysates prepared from human cell lines.
