The Assay Genie Human EXOSC4 ELISA Kit enables quantitative detection of EXOSC4, the RNA exosome subunit also called RRP41 or SKI6, which forms part of the multisubunit exosome complex responsible for 3'-to-5' RNA processing and turnover in eukaryotic cells. EXOSC4 expression has been studied in the context of mRNA surveillance, ribosomal RNA maturation, immune signaling, cancer cell proliferation, and neurodegenerative pathways, providing researchers with a tool for profiling exosome-complex activity. The capture antibody is raised against the human EXOSC4 sequence, and the kit is reported as human-specific with no significant cross-reactivity observed against rat or mouse orthologs under standard conditions. The microplate format provides 96 individual determinations, with each well requiring roughly 100 µL of specimen to complete the immunoreaction sequence.
