Human Excitatory Amino Acid Transporter 3 (EAAT3) ELISA Kit

Research on SLC1A1, the gene encoding the neuronal high-affinity glutamate transporter EAAT3, has linked altered EAAT3 expression to studies of obsessive-compulsive disorder, schizophrenia, autism spectrum disorder, excitotoxicity, and oxidative stress. Assay Genie provides a colorimetric ELISA Kit for quantifying EAAT3 protein in human tissue homogenates and related sample matrices, with reagents supplied for 96 assays in a microplate format.

The immunoassay follows a standard workflow: pre-coated capture wells bind EAAT3 from standards and prepared samples, a biotinylated detection antibody is added, followed by streptavidin-HRP conjugate, and the chromogenic reaction is read on a standard microplate reader. Each kit ships with the microplate, lyophilized standards, detection antibody, buffers, substrate, and accessory reagents sufficient for 96 determinations. Reagents should be stored refrigerated where indicated and protected from light; reconstituted components should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
