ESYT2 (Extended Synaptotagmin-2) is a calcium-dependent lipid transfer protein anchored at endoplasmic reticulum-plasma membrane contact sites, where it tethers lipid bilayers and facilitates phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylserine exchange. This Assay Genie kit provides a quantitative immunoassay to measure ESYT2 protein levels in human specimens derived from venous blood, supporting research into membrane contact site biology, organelle tethering, and intracellular lipid signaling pathways. The reagents include a pre-coated microplate, capture antibody, biotinylated detection antibody, standards, and chromogenic substrate, and the kit is intended for research use only. Store unopened components refrigerated; reconstituted standard and detection antibody should be aliquoted and frozen at -20 °C to limit repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
