Human Estrogen-related receptor gamma (ESRRG) ELISA Kit

The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and accepts serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids, with specificity for natural and recombinant human ESRRG.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.12ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 5.3% CV and inter-assay precision is 9.5% CV. Linearity across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 is 90-100% to 108-120% for serum (N=5), 86-105% for EDTA plasma, and 86-118% for heparin plasma. Recovery averages 93% (range 87-99%) in serum and 95% (range 89-101%) in plasma.

ESRRG is an orphan nuclear receptor that acts as a transcription activator in the absence of bound ligand, binding specifically to an estrogen response element to activate reporter genes, and has been linked to metabolism, energy homeostasis, and roles in disease.
