Human Estrogen ELISA Kit

Designed for the quantitative measurement of estrogen in human samples, this Competitive ELISA from Assay Genie is coated with antigen and reports a sensitivity of 9.375 pg/mL across a working range of 15.625-1000 pg/mL. The kit accepts serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, with sealed components intended for storage at 2-8°C and not for cryopreservation.

Validated linearity in serum (n = 10) is reported at 85-96%, 83-96%, and 82-101% across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions, in EDTA plasma (n = 10) at 82-95%, 85-101%, and 84-100%, and in heparin plasma (n = 10) at 85-97%, 90-103%, and 82-98%. Recovery ranges are 85-98% (serum, average 92%), 92-102% (EDTA plasma, average 93%), and 85-101% (heparin plasma, average 93%). The protocol uses a biotin-labeled antibody with TMB substrate, color development terminated by stop solution, and absorbance read at 450 nm.
