Human Erythropoietin (EPO) ELISA Kit

This Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the accurate detection of erythropoietin levels in human samples. It is reactive with human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 4.3% and inter-assay CV is 7.5%. Specificity is reported for natural and recombinant human Erythropoietin. Recovery averages 96% for serum (range 90-102%) and 98% for plasma (range 92-104%). Linearity across dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 spans 80% to 118% depending on sample type (serum, EDTA plasma, or heparin plasma).

Erythropoietin is the principal hormone involved in the regulation of erythrocyte differentiation and the maintenance of a physiological level of circulating erythrocyte mass. The kit is for research use only and is applicable to the immunology research area.
