Human ERp19 ELISA Kit (HUFI04390)

The ERp19 protein, also designated TXNDC12 (thioredoxin domain-containing protein 12), is an approximately 19 kDa oxidoreductase localized within the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. Assay Genie's Human ERp19 ELISA Kit enables quantitative measurement of this disulfide-bond-forming enzyme using capture antibodies specific to human TXNDC12, with reactivity characterized in samples derived from serum or plasma specimens.

ERp19 participates in oxidative protein folding and contributes to the unfolded protein response during conditions of ER stress. Investigators studying thioredoxin-related redox pathways, ER homeostasis, and biomarkers associated with neurodegeneration or carcinomas can monitor circulating ERp19 concentrations with this assay.

Each kit provides a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standards, biotinylated detection antibody, streptavidin-HRP conjugate, wash buffer, TMB substrate, and stop solution.
