Human ERC2 ELISA Kit (HUFI04398)

This Assay Genie ELISA Kit enables quantitative detection of ERC2 (also known as ELKS2 or CAST2), a scaffolding protein concentrated at the presynaptic active zone that regulates neurotransmitter release and synaptic vesicle priming. The kit supports neuroscience research into synaptic transmission, presynaptic plasticity, and neuronal signaling pathways, as well as investigations of neurological conditions involving synaptic dysfunction. ERC2 interactions with RIM proteins and Bassoon at the cytomatrix of the active zone make it a target of interest for studies of synaptic vesicle dynamics.
