Human ER beta/ESR2/Estrogen Receptor beta ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human estrogen receptor beta (ESR2/ER beta). The assay uses a double-antibody sandwich format with a biotin-labelled detection antibody, HRP-Streptavidin conjugate (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm. It is validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples.

The kit reports a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a measuring range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Reported linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 82–98% / 86–100% / 81–95% for serum, 90–98% / 85–101% / 85–91% for EDTA plasma, and 88–100% / 82–96% / 86–97% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery performance averaged 95% in serum (range 87–102%), 99% in EDTA plasma (89–104%) and 98% in heparin plasma (87–101%). Unopened components are stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.

The assay is positioned for research into the role of estrogen receptor beta in health and disease, including studies that link dysregulation of this receptor to breast cancer, osteoporosis and cardiovascular conditions.
