The Human EPS15R ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Pathway Substrate 15-Related protein (EPS15R, also referred to as EPS15L1), a key regulator of clathrin-mediated endocytosis and receptor trafficking in human cells.
Typical research applications include studies of EGFR endocytic routing, receptor down-regulation, synaptic vesicle recycling, and membrane-associated signaling dynamics. The assay uses a pre-coated microplate with monoclonal anti-EPS15R capture antibodies, a biotinylated detector antibody, and a streptavidin-HRP reporting system.
Each kit contains a 96-well strip plate, lyophilized recombinant human EPS15R standards, detection antibody concentrate, streptavidin-HRP, wash buffer concentrate, TMB substrate, and stop solution. A sample volume of 100 µL per well is recommended for serum and plasma specimens, with no significant cross-reactivity reported against rat or mouse Eps15R.
Allow kit components to equilibrate to room temperature before use and store unused strips refrigerated at 2-8°C in sealed pouches with desiccant. Reconstituted standards should be aliquoted to minimize freeze-thaw cycles, and the kit is intended for research use only, not for diagnostic procedures.
