Human EPO (Erythropoietin) CLIA Kit (HUES00064)

From Assay Genie, this CLIA (chemiluminescence immunoassay) kit is intended for the in vitro quantitative determination of human erythropoietin (EPO) concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. It uses a Sandwich-CLIA format in which the micro CLIA plate is pre-coated with an antibody specific to human EPO, with detection via a biotinylated detection antibody and an avidin-HRP conjugate. The resulting signal is read as Relative Light Units (RLU) on a chemiluminescence immunoassay analyzer.

The assay has a run time of 3.5 hours, a reported sensitivity of 7.50 pg/mL, and a detection range of 12.50-800 pg/mL. The required sample volume is 100 μL. Reactivity is human, and the kit specifically recognizes human EPO with no significant cross-reactivity or interference from analogues observed. Linearity has been validated in serum, EDTA plasma and cell culture media at dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16, and recoveries across these sample types fall within 88-111%.
