Human Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EPCAM) ELISA Kit

Designed for quantitative measurement of human Epithelial cell adhesion molecule (EpCAM), this Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie provides a reliable tool for cancer and cell biology research. EpCAM is a transmembrane glycoprotein involved in cell-to-cell adhesion and signalling, with established involvement in tumour progression in cancers such as breast, ovarian and colorectal cancer. The kit detects natural and recombinant human EpCAM in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.312-20ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.1ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.8% and an inter-assay CV of 8.7%. Recovery in serum averages 101% (range 95-107%) and in plasma averages 103% (range 97-109%). Linearity has been demonstrated across dilutions from 1:2 to 1:16 in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma.

Kit components include a dismountable pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, sample and assay diluents, detection reagents, wash buffer, substrate, stop solution and plate sealer, with component-specific storage conditions. For research use only.
