Human Epidermal growth factor-like protein 7 (EGFL7) ELISA Kit

Manufactured by Assay Genie, this sandwich ELISA kit is designed for the quantitative detection of human Epidermal Growth Factor-Like Protein 7 (EGFL7). The assay is reactive with human samples and is validated for use with serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. Specificity has been demonstrated against natural and recombinant human EGFL7.

Key performance characteristics include a detection range of 31.2-2000pg/mL, a sensitivity of 12pg/mL, an intra-assay CV of 5.9% and an inter-assay CV of 8.2%. Linearity has been evaluated in serum, EDTA plasma and heparin plasma across serial dilutions, with recovery averaging 90% for serum (range 84-96%) and 92% for plasma (range 86-98%).

EGFL7 is a secreted endothelial cell protein that regulates vascular tubulogenesis and angiogenesis, inhibits platelet-derived growth factor (PDGF)-BB-induced smooth muscle cell migration, and promotes endothelial cell adhesion to the extracellular matrix.
