Human Ephrin-A3 (EFNA3) ELISA Kit

A high-quality sandwich ELISA developed by Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Ephrin-A3 (EFNA3) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids. The assay uses a colorimetric detection method and is specific for natural and recombinant human Ephrin-A3.

The kit delivers a detection range of 31.2-2000 pg/mL with a reported sensitivity of 15.7 pg/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.1% and inter-assay CV is 7.9%. Linearity has been validated at dilutions of 1:2 to 1:16 in serum (104-113% to 102-112%), EDTA plasma (90-99% to 85-95%) and heparin plasma (97-109% to 84-93%); average recovery is 95% (range 89-101%) for serum and 97% (range 91-103%) for plasma. Ephrin-A3 (UniProt P52797) is a cell surface GPI-anchored ligand for Eph receptors, a family of receptor tyrosine kinases important for migration, repulsion and adhesion during neuronal, vascular and epithelial development. It binds promiscuously to Eph receptors on adjacent cells, enabling contact-dependent bidirectional signaling into neighbouring cells, and is reported to interact with and activate EPHA8.
