Human EPHA3/Ephrin type-A receptor 3 ELISA Kit

A sandwich double-antibody ELISA from Assay Genie for the quantitative detection of human EphA3 (Ephrin type-A receptor 3), a receptor involved in cell signaling processes such as cell migration, adhesion and tissue development, and which has been linked to cancer, neurological disorders and inflammatory conditions when dysregulated. The kit is intended for use with human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, and uses a biotin-labeled detection antibody with HRP-streptavidin and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Manufacturer data report a sensitivity of 0.188 ng/mL and a standard range of 0.313–20 ng/mL. Spike-and-recovery values are given as 91–102% (average 93%) for serum (n=5), 87–100% (average 97%) for EDTA plasma (n=5) and 90–104% (average 99%) for heparin plasma (n=5). Linearity across 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is reported as 85–104%, 92–97% and 89–105% for serum; 92–97%, 90–101% and 83–100% for EDTA plasma; and 83–96%, 83–94% and 84–100% for heparin plasma. The kit is stored at 2–8°C, with lyophilized standard and microplate strips also suitable for -20°C for 12-month storage, and ships with a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody diluents, SABC dilution buffer, wash buffer, stop solution and plate sealer.
