Human EphA2/Eph receptor A2 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA, double antibody kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Eph receptor A2 (EPHA2). The assay is colorimetric and intended for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The kit is stored at 2-8°C for 12 months and is listed within the cardiovascular research area.

Reported sensitivity is 46.875 pg/mL with a working range of 78.125-5000 pg/mL. Linearity in serum (n=5) at 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 dilutions is 87-101%, 86-101% and 81-86% respectively, in EDTA plasma 89-104%, 86-100% and 85-100%, and in heparin plasma 90-102%, 84-101% and 84-93%. Recovery in serum averages 92% (range 85-101%), in EDTA plasma 94% (range 86-104%), and in heparin plasma 100% (range 88-105%).

The procedure involves equilibrating reagents and TMB substrate to room temperature, a primary incubation at 37°C for 90 minutes, biotin-labelled detection antibody incubation at 37°C for 60 minutes, HRP-Streptavidin binding at 37°C for 30 minutes, TMB colour development in the dark for 10-20 minutes, and a stop reaction with absorbance reading at 450 nm.
