Epithelial Cell Adhesion Molecule (Ep-CAM), also known as CD326 or TACSTD1, is a 314-amino-acid type I transmembrane glycoprotein that mediates homophilic cell-cell adhesion and contributes to signaling pathways governing migration, proliferation and differentiation.
