Human Endothelin B receptor (EDNRB) ELISA Kit

A sandwich-format ELISA kit from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative detection of human Endothelin B receptor (EDNRB) in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates, and other biological fluids. The assay is reactive with human samples and recognizes both natural and recombinant human Endothelin receptor type B.

Reported performance specifications include a detection range of 0.156–10 ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.078 ng/mL. Intra-assay CV is 5.4% and inter-assay CV is 6.7%. Spike-and-recovery testing gives an average recovery of 83% (range 80–89%) in serum and 85% (range 80–91%) in plasma. Linearity in serum, EDTA plasma, and heparin plasma was demonstrated across serial dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8, and 1:16, with overall ranges of 93–116% in serum, 80–127% in EDTA plasma, and 80–108% in heparin plasma. The Endothelin B receptor is a G protein-coupled receptor that acts as a non-specific receptor for endothelin 1, 2, and 3, mediating its action by association with G proteins that activate a phosphatidylinositol-calcium second messenger system.
