Human Endothelin-3/EDN3 ELISA Kit

This Competitive ELISA Kit from Assay Genie is designed for the quantitative measurement of human Endothelin-3 (EDN3). The assay uses an antigen-coated microtiter plate format in which analyte in standards or samples competes with the pre-coated target for binding to a biotinylated detection antibody specific to EDN3. Bound complex is then revealed with HRP-Streptavidin (SABC) and TMB substrate, with absorbance read at 450 nm.

Validated for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples, the kit has a stated detection range of 1.563–100 pg/mL and a sensitivity of 0.938 pg/mL. Reactivity is human, with the standard reference citing Uniprot P14138. Reported linearity in spiked samples at sample dilutions of 1:2, 1:4 and 1:8 (n = 10) includes 93–105%, 82–88% and 84–99% for serum; 91–102%, 88–100% and 81–89% for EDTA plasma; and 86–103%, 82–93% and 80–95% for heparin plasma. Spiked-sample recovery averages 91% for serum, 95% for EDTA plasma, and 95% for heparin plasma (recovery ranges 85–95%, 85–104% and 87–102% respectively).
