Human Endothelial protein C receptor (PROCR) ELISA Kit

Identified by UniProt accession Q9UNN8, the assay recognises both natural and recombinant human PROCR and is intended for research use only, supporting research areas such as stem cells and the study of endothelial cell function.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.11ng/mL, with an intra-assay CV of 4.6% and an inter-assay CV of 7.2%. Mean recovery is 96% (range 90-102%) in serum and 98% (range 92-104%) in plasma.

PROCR — also referred to as Activated protein C receptor, Endothelial cell protein C receptor, APC receptor, CD201 and EPCR — is a single-pass type I membrane protein of approximately 26,671 Da. It binds activated protein C, enhances protein C activation by the thrombin-thrombomodulin complex and contributes to the protein C pathway controlling blood coagulation.
