Human Endorepellin/Perlecan ELISA Kit

A colourimetric sandwich ELISA from Assay Genie designed for the quantitative measurement of endorepellin (the C-terminal domain V fragment of perlecan/HSPG2) in human samples. The kit is configured for use with serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. Endorepellin is described as a regulator of angiogenesis and cell migration, and abnormal levels have been associated with tumour growth, inflammation, and fibrosis.

Reported performance figures include a sensitivity of 0.375 ng/mL and a standard curve range of 0.625–40 ng/mL. Linearity across dilutions (1:2, 1:4, 1:8) was 85–103% for serum, 85–105% for EDTA plasma, and 89–101% for heparin plasma. Spike-and-recovery ranged from 92–100% (serum), 86–97% (EDTA plasma) and 94–103% (heparin plasma), with averages of 95%, 91% and 98% respectively. The assay is read at 450 nm after TMB colour development and the kit is stored at 2–8°C for 12 months.
