Endoplasmin, also referred to as HSP90B1, GRP-94, GRP94, TRA1, gp96 homolog, 94 kDa glucose-regulated protein, or Tumor rejection antigen 1, is a molecular chaperone that functions in the processing and transport of secreted proteins, in endoplasmic reticulum associated degradation (ERAD), and has ATPase activity. It is localised to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and to melanosomes, and the kit is positioned for cancer research applications.

Reported performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.156-10ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.041ng/mL. Precision is reported as an intra-assay CV of 4.3% and an inter-assay CV of 7.5%. Recovery has been measured at an average of 97% in serum (range 91-103%) and 99% in plasma (range 93-105%).
