Human Endophilin-A2/SH3GL1 ELISA Kit

A sandwich ELISA kit from Assay Genie for the quantitative measurement of human Endophilin-A2, also known as SH3GL1, in serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, cell or tissue lysate, and other liquid samples. The assay uses colorimetric detection and is intended for cell biology research. Endophilin-A2 is an Src homology 3 domain-containing protein implicated in endocytosis and the recruitment of other proteins to membranes with high curvature; dysregulation has been linked to cancer, neurodegenerative disorders, and metabolic disorders.

According to the manufacturer, the kit has a sensitivity of 0.469 ng/mL and a standard curve range of 0.781-50 ng/mL. Reported linearity for serum (n=5) across 1:2, 1:4, and 1:8 dilutions is 89-102%, 94-105%, and 87-101%; for EDTA plasma (n=5) it is 85-99%, 85-100%, and 86-91%; and for heparin plasma (n=5) it is 83-96%, 81-94%, and 93-100%. Spike-and-recovery averages are 98% for serum (range 92-103%), 97% for EDTA plasma (range 88-104%), and 98% for heparin plasma (range 89-105%).

Reagents should be stored at 2-8°C for up to 12 months. The kit includes a pre-coated microplate, lyophilized standard, biotin-labeled detection antibody, HRP-streptavidin conjugate, TMB substrate, sample and antibody dilution buffers, wash buffer, stop solution, plate sealer, and a technical manual.
