Human Endophilin-A2 (SH3GL1) ELISA Kit

A Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie designed for the precise measurement of Endophilin-A2 (SH3GL1) in human samples. The assay is validated for serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, cell culture supernates and other biological fluids, and the detection method is colorimetric.

Performance characteristics include a detection range of 0.78-50ng/mL and a sensitivity of 0.28ng/mL. Intra-assay precision is 3.5% CV and inter-assay precision is 7.9% CV. Linearity was assessed in serum (N=5) at dilutions of 1:2, 1:4, 1:8 and 1:16, with ranges of 109-118%, 105-114%, 97-109% and 110-118% respectively. EDTA plasma (N=5) showed 104-114%, 113-122%, 105-116% and 105-117%, while heparin plasma (N=5) showed 105-115%, 88-97%, 86-95% and 99-111%. Spike-and-recovery testing gave averages of 102% (range 96-108%) for serum and 104% (range 98-110%) for plasma.

The kit recognises natural and recombinant human Endophilin-A2 and is supplied for research use only within the Cell Biology research area. Endophilin-A2, also known as SH3GL1, is implicated in endocytosis and may recruit other proteins to membranes with high curvature.
