Human Endonuclease G, Mitochondrial (ENDOG) ELISA Kit

Endonuclease G (ENDOG) is a mitochondrial nuclease with a molecular weight of approximately 35 kDa. It translocates from the mitochondrial intermembrane space to the nucleus during apoptosis, where it cleaves double-stranded DNA in a caspase-independent manner. Quantifying ENDOG levels is therefore valuable in research on programmed cell death, mitochondrial dysfunction, and DNA fragmentation in oncology, neurodegeneration, and cardiovascular studies.
