Human Endonuclease 8-like 3 (NEIL-3) ELISA Kit

A colorimetric Sandwich ELISA Kit from Assay Genie enables quantitative measurement of Human Endonuclease 8-like 3 (NEIL-3) in human serum and plasma samples and is intended for research use only.

NEIL-3, also known by the synonyms FPG2, hFPG2, hNEI3, DNA glycosylase FPG2, DNA glycosylase/AP lyase Neil3 and Nei-like protein 3, is a DNA glycosylase/AP lyase that plays a pivotal role in DNA repair, specifically in the removal of oxidized DNA bases. Its functions are implicated in cancer, neurodegeneration and oxidative stress-related conditions, making accurate measurement of NEIL-3 valuable for elucidating disease mechanisms.

The assay has a working range of 78.125-5000pg/mL with a sensitivity of 34.55pg/mL. Intra-assay precision is reported as CV <10% and inter-assay precision as CV <12%. Spiked-sample recovery ranges were 80-102% for serum (average 91%), 81-100% for EDTA plasma (average 90%) and 80-89% for heparin plasma (average 84%). The kit has a 12-month shelf life with activity loss of less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage conditions.
