Human ENAM (Enamelin) ELISA KIT (HUFI05286)

The ENAM gene encodes Enamelin, an extracellular matrix glycoprotein secreted by ameloblasts that governs the nucleation and oriented growth of hydroxyapatite crystals during enamel formation. Loss-of-function mutations in ENAM are a well-characterized cause of autosomal dominant amelogenesis imperfecta (AI types 1B and 1C), so quantitative measurement of circulating Enamelin supports research into inherited enamel defects, tooth morphogenesis, and skeletal biomineralization. This Assay Genie microplate-format kit is intended for research use only and supports in vitro workflows such as serum-based biomarker profiling, dental tissue engineering studies, and screening of patient cohorts with hypoplastic or hypomature enamel phenotypes. Unopened components should be stored refrigerated; reconstituted reagents should be aliquoted to limit freeze-thaw cycles.
